About the event
The REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene course introduces the learner to food hygiene principles.
Learners will develop an understanding of:
The benefits of high standards of hygiene within the food industry, exploring what is meant by food safety
The disadvantages and costs of poor standards of hygiene within the food industry
The role of the employer and employee in maintaining standards
The terms ' food poisoning', 'food borne infection' and 'food safety hazards'
